Review of the Netgear Powerling 85mbps ethernet connectors.

I had a need to have a strong internet connection in parts of my home that were simply too far away from the wireless access point to get a decent signal.

My options were limited; drill a hole and run a cable, or get a Wireless extender. Neither are appetizing. What I found that assisted me, was the Netgear Powerline 85Mbps ethernet device.

This device works very simply. First, take the small block that has only one ethernet port and plug it into an outlet in close proximity to your internet router.
Second, plug an ethernet cable from the router into the one ethernet port on the netgear device.

Third, plug the other Netgear device into an outlet near some devices you want to connect to your internet. Once plugged in, use ethernet cables to connect the devices, and BAM! you’re off and running.

I was taken aback by how simple this setup was. $99.00 gets you the 85Mbps connections, and it’s fast!.

Regardless of what might have been uttered to him after an AFC championship loss, a contract is a contract.

I pose a question: would Revis allow money to be taken from his contract in th event he had a poor season? I think not.

Model# BDP-S370/BX37

This item which caught my eye in Costco, is now in my family room. It sports not only an excellent Blu-Ray player, but also an internet stream directly to the TV. The applications included are Netflix, Pandora, You Tube, NPR, and a bevy of other music, TV ands Movie offerings.

Since I already have a Netflix account, I was quickly streaming eposides of 30 Rock as well as new Netflix movies. I opted to use an Ethernet cable directly into the box, but you also have the option of purchashing an additional Wireless USB to plug right into the device.

Have some movies, Videos, or pictures on an external usb Hard Drive? No problem! Plug it right in, and enjoy.

$129.00 at Costco, check online for possibly even beter deals.
