Currently setting up vmware lab. mall scale, one 2008 windows svr, and windows 7 ult workstation. your basics, dns, dhp, iis. I love this. lot of fun. Remember in this version all roads start with server manager.
Hey, So the previous post which alerted you all (who cares,..I know) that my abit AN-38X MB disabed all of the network interfaces. Well, I toyed around in the Bios and found that one of the windows 7 updates turned off my LAN. Made the change to the Bios lan settings,..prolem solved. /TT
My pc decided to not notice any of it’s LAN cards the other day. Using Windows 7. This smells of malware. Reinstalling 7 later Will not lose any data as I have it spread across HD’s, and have usb HD backups. Whew!
